Do's and Don'ts of Fly Veils

Before purchasing from Equus, it’s important to understand the do’s and don’ts of fly veils. Using a fly mask the correct way will provide your horse with maximum benefits.

Do:

Ensure that the fly mask fits properly. A well-fitted mask will allow your horse to move freely and will provide ample room for the eyes and ears. Equus Fly Veils provides free exchanges.

Routinely clean fly masks.

Have a spare mask on hand. In case you’re cleaning one, a backup mask will keep your horse protected from flies no matter what.

Don’t:

Never leave an Equus Fly Veil on your horse when they are not tacked up. They are not devised for turnout or stabling. They designed to be used when riding.
